Oberlin Heritage Center Staff
Theron Burnett
Buildings and Grounds Assistant
Theron
has lived in Oberlin since 1947. Until 1969, Theron worked as a barber
in towns throughout Lorain County. He worked briefly as a security guard
for Oberlin College, and then spent many years working for American Standard
as a refrigeration technician. He is now retired, and comes to the Oberlin
Heritage Center through Mature Services. He works hard here to keep our
sidewalks clean and our trashcans empty. He also takes care of delivering
and picking up our mail, keeps the Little Red Schoolhouse clean, and is
always ready and willing to do whatever other odd jobs need to be done.
Theron is enjoying being retired and taking life easy. He loves watching
football and basketball and is a big fan of the Cleveland Browns.
