Westwood Cemetery

Westwood Cemetery was dedicated on July 16, 1864 and is Oberlin’s only cemetery. It is located in southwest Oberlin on Morgan Street. Westwood is owned and operated by the City of Oberlin and contains about 8,700 burials.  Today many residents walk, jog, and bike the pathways of this peaceful and picturesque memorial park.  Use the following resources to access Westwood Cemetery information:
 
  • Westwood Gravestone Inventory Database – Explore the new online Westwood gravestone database to view marker and genealogical information for over 5,000 individuals. This database is in progress and new information is added as it becomes available.  The database contains records of individuals interred prior to 2005.   To access the database, follow the link and click "Guest Account."  Do not enter an account name or password.
