Other Tour Options

A school group takes a walking tour.The Oberlin Heritage Center strives to meet the intrests and needs of all of its tour visitors. To that end, the Oberlin Heritage Center is willing to tailor our standard tour to make it more accessible to different groups, as well as to focus on different historical themes.

Group Tours:The Oberlin Heritage Center does offer group tours by prior appointment. Complete information for planning and scheduling a tour for your group is available here.

A group of students takes a day in our one-room schoolhouse.Tour Add-ons and Specialty Tours:Some special features and sites are available to groups visiting the Oberlin Heritage Center. For instance, a group interested in the Underground Railroad could request a short guided walking tour of downtown Oberlin in addition to visiting the Oberlin Heritage Center. Special programs directed at particular groups, such as Girl Scout troops, are also under development. More information about these and other special programs and features are available here.

Self-Guided Tours: Many of our self-guided tours--excellent pre- or post-guided tour reading, or as a stand-alone tour for anyone unable to visit Oberlin in the flesh--are available here.
