Hands-On History Summer Camp 2006:

American Kids!

No one, and I mean NO ONE, said, "I'm bored" during this camp! Campers were kept busy with hands-on activities and crafts, active games, and preparing for their end-of-camp theatrical performance. Bravi, campers!

Hands to Work!

Painting
Making rag dolls
Quilt squares out of construction paper
This year's crafts included, in addition to props and sets for the play, rag dolls, cup-and-ball toys, construction-paper quilt squares, punched-tin, and paper "Anansi the spider" figures.

The campers also dedicated a lot of time to preparing and presenting a play about the Underground Railroad.
