The Eighth Annual
Gingerbread Extravaganza
Many of the houses on display at the Eighth Annual Gingerbread
Extravaganza were created by students at Oberlin High School. Donna
Shurr, who teaches Home Economics, Childhood Development, and Food
and Nutrition, helped students in all three of her classes make
gingerbread and graham cracker houses. Here are a few pictures of
her students at work. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger image.
First, the students made cardboard models of their houses
Then, they made the gingerbread and adorned it with all sorts
of tasty decorations.
