Who We Are

It takes many enthusiastic people performing many different roles to fulfill our mission!

Members

At the heart of our organization are our individual, family, business, and organizational members. All are welcome to join. We have almost 700 members from throughout Oberlin, Lorain County, and the rest of the country who support our mission through an annual membership contribution. Our endowed life members have made a special lasting gift to our endowment which provides ongoing operating support for our organization.

Volunteers

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds assist us in a great variety of ways from giving tours, doing grounds work, researching special projects, helping with collections care, to serving on committees and much much more. We always welcome new volunteers--consider joining our volunteer force!

Board of Trustees

The Oberlin Heritage Center has a talented and dedicated Board of Trustees, who oversee the organization. We also have a number of honorary trustees.

Staff

The organization also has a dedicated, talented, and energetic staff.

Interns

We also have lots of dynamic, energetic, hard-working, and idealistic college interns.

Committees

No organization is complete without committees. These wonderful people volunteer their time to assist our staff in planning and implementing its programs.
